- Hi All,
-
- I am currently getting access to an Indigo with Irix 5.2 on an occasional
- basis. However, I would like to speed up the learning curve a bit by using
- my systems at home. Is there a sharewrae/freeware package that would emulate
- (or at least be similar to) Irix and it's GUI on a 486-DX2/66 or an Amiga
- (A1200 or A2000)? How similar is Irix to Unix? Would Linux on either of the
- above systems be a step in the right direction? Any help would be greatly
- appreciated.
